Description
Exciting travel opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in Utica, New York. This night shift role (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) offers guaranteed 36 hours per week and provides a chance to work in a fast-paced environment. The Emergency Department is a 64-bed unit that includes 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds. You will care for patients across the lifespan, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Specialty equipment includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Floating within the unit is required, and Navy Blue scrubs are the dress code. Candidates with charge capability are highly preferred. This role requires travel experience, a valid NY RN license, and certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is essential.
