Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical unit in Utica, New York. This travel position offers the opportunity to work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a commitment of 36 guaranteed hours per week. The role involves providing high-quality care to adult patients with conditions such as stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and other general medical-surgical cases. Floating may be required, and the unit is equipped with specialty equipment like IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing, including stroke stepdown experience, and prior travel experience is essential. Proficiency in EPIC EMR and current certifications in AHA BLS and NIHSS are mandatory. Navy blue scrubs are the required uniform.
