Join an exciting opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry in Rochester, New York. This travel/contract position is ideal for experienced RNs with a passion for patient care. The role requires a NY license in hand and offers a 12-hour night shift (1900-0700), three shifts per week, with every other weekend coverage. Floating is required, and the assignment guarantees 36 hours weekly. The unit handles a high volume of patients, primarily focused on CHF, acute MI, post-device care, arrhythmias, and various surgical recoveries. Key highlights: • Opportunity to care for a diverse patient population including general surgery and cardiac cases.• Experience with EPIC charting is essential.• Certifications in BLS and NIHSS are mandatory.• First-time travelers are welcome, but locals within a 75-mile radius are not eligible.This position is perfect for those with at least one year of MS/Tele experience and the flexibility to adapt to varying patient ratios (1:5 to 1:7).
