Description

Join a rewarding opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Rochester, New York. This travel/contract position requires working 4x12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) with every other weekend coverage. The role guarantees 48 hours per week, providing care in a 39-bed acute stroke unit that also handles other neurological disorders and acute medical patients. Flexibility is essential as floating within skillset is required. Candidates must possess a NY license, have at least 2 years of experience, and be comfortable handling a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. Experience with EPIC charting and skills such as cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and respiratory care are crucial.
