We are seeking a dedicated LPN with expertise in Medical Surgical care for a travel/contract position in Rochester, New York. This role involves 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with a requirement to work every other weekend and holiday, if needed. The contract guarantees 36 hours per week, ensuring stability throughout your assignment. The position requires acute care experience within the last two years and proficiency in handling medical patients, including those with COPD exacerbations, infections, and social issues. Candidates must have an active New York LPN license and BLS certification. Responsibilities include vital signs monitoring, pain assessments, telemetry monitoring, EKGs, medication administration (oral, IM, IV, and more), wound care, and Foley catheter insertion. Proficiency in EPIC charting is required. You will be collaborating with an RN and may need to float within your skillset.
