Join a rewarding opportunity as a Cardiac Sonographer in Vestal, NY. This position offers a consistent 8-hour day shift with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Starting on September 8, 2026, you will perform crucial cardiac ultrasound exams, including 2D, M-mode, Doppler color, TEE, and stress echo. You'll interpret preliminary findings, ensuring timely reporting of critical cases to physicians. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and responding to emergency calls for stat echoes. Collaboration, attention to detail, and technical expertise are key to excelling in this role. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with an associate’s degree in cardiac ultrasonography preferred. Mandatory certifications include RDMS or RCS, along with BLS certification from AHA, HSI, or the American Red Cross. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credentials are preferred.
