We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Stepdown unit in Auburn, New York. This is a travel/contract position with a start date of September 14, 2026. This role requires a commitment of four 12-hour day shifts per week, with guaranteed 48 hours. The patient population includes individuals recovering from congestive heart failure, cardiac catheterizations, vascular procedures, and other critical conditions such as respiratory failure and cardiac dysrhythmias. Responsibilities include post-procedure monitoring, frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks, and management of cardiac drips, IVs, and respiratory support systems. To succeed in this role, you must excel in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and respiratory care, among other critical care skills.
