Night Shift: (7pm-7am), every 3rd weekend is required, holiday commitment required. Weekdays and every 3rd weekend required. .-36 hours a week, 3x12 shifts per week

Department did note that they have multiple needs 7 days a week so there maybe reasonably flexible scheduling during Monday through Friday, aside from the every 3rd weekend. -13 week assignment

Job Summary:
-The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) practices at the level of a clinically competent to proficient practitioner of respiratory care.
-The RRT at this level demonstrates competence in caring for patients with emergency, acute, and intensive care needs with minimal guidance.
-The RRT demonstrates clinical leadership skills through contribution to standards of care and department goals.
-The RRT works under the direction of ordering physician/clinician, established organizational policies and procedures, and the American Association of Respiratory Care Clinical Practices Guidelines.
-They serve as a role model for other staff, a preceptor for new employees and participates in endeavors to increase respiratory care knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience:
-Two (2) years of respiratory care experience.
-Ability to use MS Office Suite.

Required Education:
-Associate’s degree.
-Certificate of completion in respiratory care from a respiratory care program.
-According to the CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services) a copy of diploma or transcript is required as proof of academic achievement for all non-laboratory personnel performing non-waived POC testing.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
-A valid license to practice respiratory care in the state of Pennsylvania.
-BLS.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. -Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification within 2 years of date of placement into position.
