Description

Responsibilities :

Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory care modalities.
Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
Perform patient assessments and document treatment plans and responses.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience in the specialty.
Current Georgia Respiratory Care License (RRT).
Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Additional Information :

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.
Holiday coverage is required. Travelers must work 2 of the following major holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
In addition, travelers must work 1 of the following minor holidays:
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
