RN Case Manager
StartDate: 6/8/2026 Pay Rate: $1800.00 - $2700.00
POSITION SUMMARY – RN Case Manager
POSITION DUTIES – Enhance the continuity of care and cost effectiveness by integrating the functions of case management, resource management, clinical documentation management, and discharge planning. Daily and concurrently involved in the management of inpatient and observation patients by comprehensive assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations of appropriate level of care. Collaborate with other members of the health care team to ensure the above according to the mission of the facility. Will work with complex pediatric patients; can see up to ten or more cases a day.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- TX/compact RN license
- 5+ years in clinical practice for population to be served
- 2+ years minimum of acute care hospital experience
- Proficient word processing skills in a Windows environment
- Ability to analyze and create reports and presentations via software applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS –
- BSN
- CPR
- CCM
- Case Management/Resource Management and discharge planning experience
- Milliman (MCG) Guideline and Interqual criteria experience
- Familiarity with MIDAS and Meditech systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks
SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 8a-5p. Some weekend work and work after normal business hours may be required.
