Registered Nurse - Healthcare Professional - Travel - (RN-HP)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $3301.00 - $3505.00
Evaluate clinical products, supplies, and equipment used throughout the hospital. Lead value analysis initiatives to reduce product variation and unnecessary costs. Work with OR, Critical Care, Post-Op, Nursing Leadership, Surgeons, and Supply Chain teams. Review vendor contracts and assist with product standardization decisions. Coordinate product trials, conversions, and implementation plans. Gather clinician feedback regarding products and supplies. Serve as the clinical expert between nursing/surgical teams and Supply Chain.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, Healthcare Professional RN(Compact Accepted)(Copy needed) References: 1 Reference in entire work history The strongest candidates would be OR Managers, Perioperative Leaders, Clinical Resource Nurses, Value Analysis RNs, Surgical Services Coordinators, or experienced OR RNs who have participated in product evaluations, supply standardization projects, purchasing decisions, or value analysis committees.
This is a non-patient-care role.
This position does not involve bedside nursing responsibilities.
This position does not include employee management or direct reports.
Travel between campuses is not required.
The assignment is based exclusively at the Main Hospital campus in Miami.
Must possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Must have Operating Room experience or a thorough understanding of OR workflows, surgical procedures, supplies, equipment, implants, and physician preference items.
Should have Value Analysis experience or familiarity with product evaluation, standardization initiatives, contract review, and supply chain decision-making processes.
Must be comfortable collaborating with physicians, nurses, executive leaders, and Supply Chain personnel while facilitating consensus around product selection and utilization.
