RN Pedi CVOR travel jobs at the facility in Miami, FL let you provide perioperative nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing complex cardiovascular surgeries in a high-acuity children’s hospital environment. You must have an active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or a valid multistate compact RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and at least 2 years of recent cardiovascular operating room experience. Pediatric and congenital cardiac surgery experience is strongly preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) or CPN (Certified Pediatric Nurse) certification is preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Key skills include scrub and circulating duties for complex cardiac procedures, maintaining sterile technique, anticipating intraoperative needs, and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusion, and the multidisciplinary team.
