Job Title

Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
Manage and care for patients with a variety of common medical/surgical diagnoses
Implement and maintain isolation precautions including COVID and other required isolation protocols
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health record system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system (must be noted in profile)
Current BLS/relevant certification card required
Complete work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience caring for patients requiring specialized isolation protocols including COVID and Monkeypox
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment
