Job Title
Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float Pool
Location
Boise, ID
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Float within your specialty across ICU units at multiple facilities, never floating to a lower acuity setting
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–2
- Titrate drips as required within the ICU and other critical care settings
- Read and interpret telemetry and monitor data as applicable to assigned unit
- Serve as a 1:1 sitter in any area across facilities when needed
- Receive unit assignment via app approximately one hour before shift start; be prepared for potential mid-shift floats across units and facilities
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU specialty
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications required for critical care assignments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing a variety of ICU patient populations and acuity levels
- Comfort with mid-shift floating between units and multiple facility locations
