Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Gadsden, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
Manage a patient assignment at a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes within the facility's electronic medical record system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and dress code requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

Active Compact RN License or Alabama RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
