Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / Progressive Care (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Provide direct patient care in a cardiac stepdown / progressive care unit setting
Maintain safe patient assignments in accordance with unit ratios (night shift 1:5 to 1:6)
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of cardiac stepdown / progressive care experience required
Active Illinois RN license at time of submission required
EPIC EMR experience required
Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
Current ACLS certification through AHA or ARC required
Valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Active Iowa RN license preferred
Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
Completed skills checklist specific to stepdown / progressive care preferred
