Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their place of residence who have impairments, cognitive and/or physical resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes
• Serve patients ranging in age from birth to geriatric populations
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate services
• Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources related to patient care
• Travel within the assigned geographic service area to provide care

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure with registration in Massachusetts
• Minimum of one year of certified home care OT experience
• Minimum of two years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home care as an Occupational Therapist
• Proficiency with various computer software and knowledge of handheld patient care devices
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience using handheld patient care computer devices in a clinical setting
• Background working across multiple care settings including acute care and rehabilitation
