Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 48-bed Medical Surgical unit managing a patient population that includes pneumonia, UTI, altered mental status, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and fall/weakness cases
• Titrate select drips including heparin, bumex, and lasix (cardiac drip titration not required)
• Monitor patients on telemetry in coordination with a dedicated monitor technician; routine strip interpretation not required
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy staff who manage breathing treatments, inhalers, ABGs, and respiratory equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow O2
• Work alongside patient care technicians who perform vitals, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, heart monitor application, bathing, feeding, toileting, and repositioning
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend coverage, holiday rotation participation, and floating to Medical Surgical, MS-Tele, or IMC units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (any licensing actions must be disclosed at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Ability to manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6–8 on night shift
• Willingness to float to other Medical Surgical, MS-Tele, or IMC units for lower-acuity assignments
• Must meet 50-mile radius requirement; valid unexpired driver's license required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Medical Surgical setting
• CNA certification or willingness to complete PCT training
