Travel RN – PACU
Location
Asheville, NC

Contract | Travel | Days | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a 40-bed PACU unit, maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and other standard PACU equipment
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records system
- Float within the peri-anesthesia service line, including Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and Phase II areas as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation, fulfilling 3 call shifts per 6-week scheduling cycle
- Collaborate with PCTs, HUCs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale experience
- Proficiency with ventilator monitoring
- Ability to adhere to required dress code: surgical green or navy scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma nursing experience
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
