Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5x8 Hours, Monday–Friday, No Weekends or Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
- Conduct PET scans as part of routine clinical duties (on-site training available for qualified candidates)
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Follow established safety, regulatory, and infection control standards throughout all procedures
- Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR
- Participate in optional on-call shifts (Monday–Friday 4:30 AM–10:00 PM; Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM–10:00 PM) with a 60-minute response time, if interested
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active California state license in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification required
- Must be available Monday through Friday; no scheduling accommodations for outside employment
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior PET scan experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care or MAGNET-designated hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
