Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting at a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the continuum of acuity
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed
• Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and unit-specific standards of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Be available to work up to 48 hours per week as required by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience (strictly enforced); first-time travelers must have 3+ years of recent ER experience
• At least one completed prior travel nursing assignment required
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or valid Compact (NLC) license in full compliance — no pending licenses accepted
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification (with renewal plan documented if expiring during assignment)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of Emergency Room experience preferred
• Experience in a large hospital environment preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
