Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting at a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Respond to on-call needs and work weekends as required by unit scheduling
• Participate in holiday coverage, working at least 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period
• Float between like units within the same campus or nearby campuses as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience (strictly enforced)
• At least 1 completed prior travel nursing assignment (first-time travelers considered only with 3+ years of recent ER experience)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Must be willing to work 48-hour weeks as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of Emergency Room experience preferred
• Large hospital or high-volume facility experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted for this position
