Contract | Days (3x12, 7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center
• Operate within a team nursing model, collaborating with interdisciplinary staff to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for orthopedic and surgical patients
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed per unit scheduling requirements
• Float between like units and campuses as directed by unit leadership

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical or Orthopedic nursing
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of RN experience across any specialty
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
