Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting
- Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Deliver one-on-one patient care with a 1:1 care ratio
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist state license — compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Experience with travel or contract assignments in acute care settings
