Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Deliver one-on-one patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist state license (compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
- Acute care experience required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
- Ability to commit to holiday coverage requirements as defined by the facility
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with travel contract expectations, including flexibility to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
