Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to low-acuity critical care patients in a 12-bed, 24-hour cardiac and vascular observation unit
• Monitor and manage patients with arterial lines, PA catheters, LVADs, and up to 2–4 vasoactive drips
• Care for pre-surgical and post-procedure patients requiring extended observation prior to discharge
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm identification in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
• Collaborate with the heart and vascular service line teams to facilitate appropriate patient placement and throughput
• Complete a proctored, non-multiple-choice rhythm identification test upon unit orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of Telemetry or related specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Experience with PA lines required
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity, high-volume cardiac observation setting
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Non-local travelers only (50-mile radius restriction applies)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience with low-acuity critical care patients, including cardiovascular and vascular diagnoses
• Familiarity with LVAD management and vasoactive drip titration
