Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other ICU floors as needed based on unit staffing requirements
• Care for a diverse patient population, which may include patients with infectious conditions such as COVID-19
• Adhere to all facility policies including tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment standards

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in an ICU or critical care setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care or ICU environment
• Familiarity with SICU-specific patient populations and protocols
• Experience floating across multiple ICU unit types
