Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30) | Monday–Wednesday | On-Call Required (variable days, including overnight and weekend call)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge OR RN, circulating across multiple surgical service lines including Ortho/Spine, Craniofacial/Neuro/Plastics/Oral, ENT/Ophthalmology, Gen/Uro/GYN/Robotics, and Cardiac
• Circulate in operative procedures with a patient population ranging from neonates to adults
• Manage and respond to airway emergencies within the OR setting
• Fulfill on-call obligations including overnight and weekend shifts as scheduled within a 6-week rotation (1–2 weekend 12-hour shifts and 1–2 weekday overnights per cycle)

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN License (compact RN licenses accepted; must be in hand or willing to apply upon offer)
• Current BLS (BCLS) and PALS certifications
• Demonstrated OR RN experience with comfort in neuro cases (e.g., craniotomies, VP shunts) and orthopedic procedures
• Competency in managing airway emergencies in the OR
• Circulator skill set required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required; candidates without pediatric experience must have a minimum of 3 years of neuro and ortho OR experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric OR experience strongly preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience and CNOR certification
• 3 or more years of OR RN experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
