Job Title

Travel RN – Neuro-Progressive Care (Nights)

Location

Albany, New York

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Neuro-Progressive Care (Stepdown) setting during night shift hours
Monitor and assess neurological patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
Adhere to unit-specific protocols, dress code requirements, and competency standards

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU nursing
Proficiency with Epic EMR is required
Must successfully complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer
Navy blue scrubs required per dress code policy
Must meet travel candidate eligibility requirements (local candidates from designated ineligible counties will not be considered)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a neuro or progressive care environment
Familiarity with stepdown-level monitoring and neurological assessment tools
