Job Title

Travel RN – Neuro ICU/SICU

Location

Albany, New York

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time (up to 48 hours per week available)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Neurological and Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting
Manage and monitor critically ill trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
Utilize the Epic electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Adhere to unit-specific protocols, dress code (navy blue scrubs), and facility policies

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience, specifically with trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
Trauma Level One facility experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Must be able to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience managing complex, high-acuity neurological and surgical critical care patients
Familiarity with large academic medical center environments
