Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care nursing on a 14-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage patients with conditions including diabetes, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, DVTs, wound care, amputations, debridements, and post-surgical overflow
• Administer and monitor medications including Lasix, Bumex, and Heparin
• Collaborate with CNAs and LPNs to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Float to acute care, cardiology, or the emergency department as needed to support patient care
• Adhere to strict patient safety, satisfaction, and quality of care standards including infection control policies

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience in a large, high-acuity, high-turnover acute care facility (no Critical Access Hospital experience accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience managing patients on CPAP or BiPAP
• Familiarity with dialysis patient care and wound care management
