Registered Nurse – Vascular OR (CVOR)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Monday–Friday, 36 hours/week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate complex vascular surgical cases including endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, carotid, thrombectomy, amputation, AV fistula, and cold leg procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 6–8 calls per month including weekend call coverage
- Adhere to holiday call requirements as determined by departmental needs
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for clinical documentation
- Comply with radiation safety protocols and wear a radiation monitoring badge at all times in applicable areas
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact RN license — must be in hand at contract start
- Minimum 2 years of vascular OR nursing experience with ability to both scrub and circulate complex cases
- Current BLS certification — must be American Heart Association (AHA)
- Current ACLS certification — must be American Heart Association (AHA)
- Radiation badge required (provided upon placement)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital environment
- Familiarity with a broad range of vascular procedures including TEVAR, FEVAR, EVAR, and endovascular interventions
- Prior travel nursing experience in a vascular or cardiovascular OR setting
