Job Title

RN - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights (1800–0630) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Float to ICU as needed to support departmental staffing requirements
Document patient care activities accurately using basic computer systems

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California
Minimum of one year of RN experience within the last 24 months
Acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or EMT/ED Tech experience with a minimum of 2 years in good standing
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

Emergency Room and ICU clinical experience strongly preferred
MICN certification (desired; must be completed within one year of hire if not already obtained)
NRP, TNCC, and/or CEN certification encouraged and recommended
