Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Location

Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 4x12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
Monitor and assess hemodynamic status of critically ill cardiovascular patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of open heart experience documented on resume
Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility
Minimum of 2 years of overall RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular or cardiothoracic ICU environment
Familiarity with post-operative open heart surgical patient management
