Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with common diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infectious conditions
• Utilize the Paragon electronic health record system for documentation and care coordination
• Participate in weekend float requirements as needed across the unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as a travel placement
• No on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with the Paragon EHR system
• Familiarity with orthopedic, cardiac, or general surgery patient populations
• Experience working in a Joint Commission Accredited or Chest Pain Center-designated facility
