Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)

Mt. Pleasant, MI

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Perform circulating duties in the operating room across a range of surgical specialties including general, gynecological, laparoscopic, orthopedic, and urological procedures
Coordinate and manage the surgical environment to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout each case
Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub technicians to support seamless surgical workflow
Document perioperative care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience required
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records required
Moderate sedation experience required
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Cardiac experience preferred
Experience with minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures
