Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 4 Days x 10 Hours (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 22, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Apply and document the full nursing process — assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation — for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Consult with physicians and clinical staff on nursing problems and interpretation of policies to ensure patient needs are met.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration and maintain clinical competency to provide direct, safe patient care.
• Act as a patient advocate, incorporating family in care planning while respecting patient confidentiality, cultural beliefs, and religious values.
• Participate in hospital and departmental quality improvement activities as required.
• Demonstrate effective time management and teamwork while maintaining professional communication with patients, families, and staff of varying ages and cultures.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License in the state of New Mexico required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
• ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related nursing specialty.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• CPI certification highly preferred.
• Ability to speak additional languages is a plus.
