Registered Nurse – CVOR

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting, including open heart surgical cases
- Perform scrub duties as required during cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Adhere to on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time, including call shifts 1–2 days per week
- Rotate weekend coverage on an every third or fourth weekend basis (Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM)
- Work holidays as needed, with an expectation of covering at least one major holiday per contract
- Float to other areas as needed and may provide care for COVID-positive patients
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, including open heart surgery experience
- Scrub experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC only
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong familiarity with EPIC charting in a surgical or perioperative environment
- Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical setting with complex patient populations
