Registered Nurse – Cardiac Care (Outpatient Cardiology Clinic)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 40 Hours Guaranteed per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist with Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing and Treadmill Stress Testing
• Perform EKG lead placement and real-time arrhythmia interpretation
• Conduct finger sticks, blood pressure readings, and INR management (in-office and remote)
• Assist with vein ablations, IV initiation for procedures, and medication mixing and administration
• Manage anticoagulation clinic duties including ongoing medication management
• Respond to high-volume patient messages through the electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret arrhythmias in real time
• Proficiency in EKG lead placement and EKG performance
• Experience with finger sticks, blood pressure assessment, and INR management
• Willingness to assist with Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior outpatient cardiology clinic experience strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Familiarity with anticoagulation clinic workflows and protocols
