Inpatient General Surgery - Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)
Location
Boston, MA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Day/Night Rotating Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient nursing care for general surgery patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor and assess post-operative patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to coordinate and deliver patient care
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 facility
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Experience in Medical Surgical or General Surgery nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity or academic medical center environment
- Strong adaptability and ability to transition quickly into new clinical settings
