Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to low-acuity critical care and observation patients within a heart and vascular moderate care unit
• Monitor and manage patients with arterial lines, PA catheters, LVADs, and up to 2–4 vasoactive drips
• Care for pre-surgical and post-procedure patients requiring extended observation prior to discharge
• Perform and interpret continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring; pass a proctored, non-multiple-choice rhythm identification assessment upon unit orientation
• Manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment with frequent patient turnover and a wide variety of cardiovascular diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of IMC, PCU, Step-Down, or related specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Experience with PA lines required
• Ability to pass a proctored cardiac rhythm identification test (two attempts permitted)
• Non-local candidates only — candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Experience with low-acuity critical care patients, including LVAD management and vasoactive drip titration
• Background in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic step-down or ICU settings
