Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | On-Call and Weekend Availability Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving med surg, overflow, post-surgical, and observation patients
• Manage a patient ratio of up to 1:6 or 1:7 in a team nursing environment
• Collaborate with LPNs and interdisciplinary team members as the unit transitions to a team nursing model
• Respond to on-call needs and fulfill weekend shift requirements as needed
• Float to like units or nearby campuses within a 20-mile radius as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a valid Compact (NLC) RN license in full compliance with NLC guidelines
• Willingness to work up to 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if the assignment spans that period
• Must reside or be relocating from at least 100 miles from the facility location
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of total RN experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
