Job Title

RN - Medical Surgical

Sonora, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
Apply professional and supervisory discretion in clinical decision-making
Document patient care accurately within electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
EPIC experience within the last 12 months
Recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must list the charting system used
No requested time off (RTO) — listed start date is firm

Preferred Experience / Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility experience
