Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of neonatal patients during assigned shift
• Prescribe and deliver nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and input from patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate patient care delivery
• Incorporate patient and family teaching as well as discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months required
• Recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must identify the charting system used

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous acute care facility experience in a NICU setting
