Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing 135+ patients per day
- Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio within a 41-bed unit
- Care for a diverse patient population including Stroke, ACS, Diabetic, and AKD presentations
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Support facility operations aligned with Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required upon extension
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in a high-acuity emergency department environment
- Familiarity with Chest Pain Center protocols and Cath Lab support workflows
