Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel Contract)
Location
Natchez, Mississippi
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- PALS certification (must be obtained within the first 3 weeks of assignment start if not already held)
- Permanent residence located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a critical care environment with a high-acuity patient population
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
