Job Title

ICU Registered Nurse – Nights

Location

York, ME

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | 36 hours per week | Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Variable shifts possible | No call required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting
  • Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation and medical records

Required Qualifications

  • Active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Influenza vaccination (mandated by the State of Maine)
  • Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with a wide range of critical care patient populations
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity environments
