Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Projected Start: 06/29/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies, tracheostomy and ventilator management, and Passy Muir Valve (PMV) assessments
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using facility EMR system (ProTouch)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to additional units as needed within the facility network
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of Nevada
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in an acute or LTACH care setting
- Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
- Experience working with tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
- Familiarity with Passy Muir Valve (PMV) assessments and protocols
- Prior experience in a LTACH or complex acute care environment
