Job Title

Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location

Las Vegas, Nevada

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
Evaluate and treat patients requiring Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies, tracheostomy and ventilator management, and Passy Muir Valve (PMV) assessments
Document patient progress and treatment plans using facility EMR system (ProTouch)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Float to additional units as needed within the facility network

Required Qualifications

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of Nevada
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience in an acute or LTACH care setting
Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic medical records

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
Experience working with tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
Familiarity with Passy Muir Valve (PMV) assessments and protocols
Prior experience in a LTACH or complex acute care environment
