Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room / Med-Surg Swing

Location

Garrison, ND

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an ED and Med-Surg Swing bed unit with a 22-bed capacity
Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 for acute care, 1:4 in the ED, and 1:6 for swing bed patients
Titrate and manage drips as required per patient care needs
Read and interpret telemetry strips independently as the assigned RN
Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment including nebulizers, oxygen delivery systems, ventilators (ED/transport use), and CPAP as needed
Float to ED holds as needed and may serve in a charge nurse capacity

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum of one year of Med-Surg experience
Ability to titrate drips and manage common titratable medications

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
Experience reading and interpreting telemetry strips
Familiarity with swing bed patient care models
