Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Travel)
Location
Natchez, Mississippi
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
- Respond to critical and trauma situations in accordance with department protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for the state of Mississippi
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification
- Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
- All certifications must be current and submitted at the time of application for consideration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or trauma-level Emergency Department
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems in an acute care environment
